A granite plaque pays tribute to Lawrence "Jungle Larry" Tetzlaff who along with his wife Nancy "Safari Jane" Tetzlaff introduced the exotic animals to the botanical garden in 1969. Nancy is now retired. She is pictured here with her two sons David (at right) & Tim.
