June 16: Father’s Day at Naples Zoo
Want to get rid of those half-empty bottles of cheap aftershave from previous Father’s Days? Dads can trade those for free Zoo admission by bringing the bottle to the Zoo on Father’s Day.
Why does the Zoo want aftershave? For the animals, of course. This annual call for cologne provides new scents for the animals to enjoy all year. Dads and their families will be able to watch the animals’ reactions to these aftershaves as the scents are used throughout the day for animal enrichment. If Dad doesn’t have aftershave to donate, some of Mom’s perfume will work, too. Otherwise, dads can take advantage of an online offer for free admission with child ticket purchase in place of cologne.
July 4-7: Independence Day Weekend
In honor of those who serve our country and Independence Day, Naples Zoo is offering free admission to all active and prior service military personnel. Military personnel receive free admission at the Zoo’s ticket box by presenting military identification or a veteran's organization member card and matching name photo ID. Plus, adult and child guests in their party can also purchase online tickets at $2 off regular Zoo admission during the weekend.

Zoo guests will watch lions claw into beautifully wrapped presents, hyenas lick candy canes made from blood and ice, lemurs nibble treats off a Christmas tree, and many other animals enjoy holiday-related delicacies.
