A Cooperative Effort between The Zoo in Naples and the Madagascar Fauna Group

Red-ruffed lemur

MADAGASCAR:
The Eighth Continent

Its flowers help fight leukemia.
More than 80% of its animals are found nowhere else on earth.
Fish thought extinct 80 million years ago swim off its shores.
And 1,000 different kinds of orchids bloom there.

But Madagascar is also one of the world's poorest countries.
It has already suffered the loss of almost 90% of its rainforest.
And this island is also home to the most endangered group of primates on earth: lemurs.

Help us in our ongoing support of the Madagascar Fauna Group. Help protect the wildlife and wild lands of this tropical island wonder.

A Wildly Entertaining Night for Conservation
Pianos for Primates
will raise funds to help conservation efforts in Madagascar and provide ongoing local awareness of the issues. Funds raised will go directly to the Madagascar Fauna Group (MFG) for their programs in the wild with additional funds raised going to create the Primate Pavilion, an educational display about the MFG inside the 52-acre Caribbean Gardens. Primate Pavilion will help zoo guests learn about and become involved in the preservation of Madagascar.
